 Maxis created the Discovery Centre as a training & resource centre, exclusively for its personnel. As an MDP participant, Maxis has opened the doors of this exclusive centre to be use by participants to improve themselves. The centre contains audio-visual aids in the form of videos, CD-ROMS, DVDs and books as well as online data. New audio-visuals aids are brought in on a monthly basis.
There are also a wide variety of books available for use at the centre. Please check with the staff on duty. Books can be taken out for a month and MDP participants can request for an extension or renew the application.
 Personal Development Courses
The Personal Development Courses are online courses that can be taken at the leisure of the participants. These courses are exclusive only to MDP and are designed to instil useful business skills to the participants. Some of the training modules available at the centre are :

- Data Networks
- Broadband Networks

Computers are available for the online courses and most of the teaching materials are either in CD-ROMS or DVD-ROMS format. There is a handy E-learning tool, which has the capability to track the progress of the participants on a particular course so that the participants can learn the topic at their own phase.

MDP Participants are required to contact the Discovery Centre to make an appointment to use the facilities or the training rooms. The staff at the centre will attend to your enquiries regarding the courses available.
As a security precaution, participants are also required to register their names at the security checkpoint to obtain the passes to enter the building for every visit.
